This family home was ready for a refresh – inside and out.
Partnering with Cadence Architecture, we gave this classic Cape Cod the attention it deserved with both interior and exterior updates.
Inside, the primary bedroom and bathrooms got a modern refresh as did the laundry room and hall bathroom. From flooring to fixtures and paint to plumbing, all materials that were outdated or failing were replaced for a fresh, new feel.
TAKE IT OUTSIDE
Outside, a new covered porch that is tied seamlessly into the home’s roof line extends the usable square footage of the home dramatically. Underneath, a brick fireplace set the stage for a cozy lounge and dining area.
Dark hardwood floors and metal railings provide a classic but contemporary look that blends in well with the home’s architecture. Lighting was used to delineate the living areas with an outdoor fan and recessed lighting over the lounge and TV area and a dramatic chandelier over the dining table.
A SECOND CHANCE FOR A FIRST IMPRESSION
The front and side entry of the home were updated with new awnings that also compliment the Cape Cod style. The front door and railings were replaced giving the home a more warm and welcoming curb appeal.
This home is now ready to welcome guests and its owners with a fresh face that still feels like home.
