A multi-room addition gives this large family more room for fun

This family of five (not including the dogs!) was bursting at the seams of a house they loved but no longer worked for them. To avoid the stress of moving, a multi-room addition was designed instead. The challenge of this project was twofold: much of their existing lot wasn’t buildable, so we designed around the space we had available to us. The second challenge was completing the project while the family remained in the house.

Custom details

Fortunately lots of design and planning on the front end made for a smooth construction process. In the end, the hard work paid off with a new primary bathroom with a steam shower, renovated kitchen with a built-in banquette, a family room with a full wet bar, an expanded mudroom and laundry room, a bonus room for the kids, custom closets, more garage storage space, and an expansive outdoor living area.
