A screened-in porch that blurs the line between indoor and outdoor living.
Lots of people want to “bring the outdoors in” with their home renovations, but this client took a different approach and moved the indoors out. The screened-in porch addition we built feels like a traditional living and dining room, but with the added benefits of cool breezes, birds chirping and great views.
Easy Living.
By incorporating a true wood-burning fireplace and chimney, they were able to create a cozy living space complete with TV, ceiling fan and floor lamps while on the other side of the porch a mix of indoor and outdoor furniture completes the dining space. All of this is connected seamlessly to the fully renovated kitchen and family room. Other parts of the project included a mudroom, laundry room, one renovated half bath and one new half bath. With these changes, this family is now able to enjoy every square inch of space in their home with ease.
